YIS secondary schoolers joined fellow students from three other Yangon international schools to host the Astra Talent Show at the Novotel Max Ballroom last Saturday (February 18). YIS students represented over half of the acts, and many members of the YIS Microloans club were responsible for preparing and executing the extremely successful city-wide event! 
Congratulations to all performers, including three who earned top honours: Stephen (grade 
sang “A Phyu Yaung” and earned 2nd place; Dahlia (grade 11) performed a Burmese song, “Message” and gained 3rd place, while Aarushi (grade 9) was awarded a special audience prize for her version of the song, “Bang Bang.” We are proud of the YIS students who helped make this year’s Astra a memorable night.
