Last Thursday, parents, students, and teachers convened to celebrate excellence at YIS. Individual awards focused on our ESLRs (being academically well-prepared; culturally sensitive, socially responsible, and personally fulfilled) and also highlighted groups’ efforts in serving the YIS and local and global communities. Student dance and singing performances included YIS award-winners from Microloans city-wide Astra Talent Competition. The high school event culminated with the presentation of Senior Tenzin Wangyel with the annual EARCOS Global Citizenship Award.
