We celebrated Go Green Halloween at YIS on Monday, October 31st. Students were encouraged to embrace a book character, and upcycling was encouraged as far as creating a costume. Led by Mary Poppins, the Halloween parade started a day of fun and learning as students shared their identities. Students engaged in learning activities throughout the day that wove in the Halloween theme, ending with ‘scary’ movies and popcorn.
