EC to Grade 5 celebrated their music learning on Friday’s assembly. The performances demonstrated their music learning through Orff and Kodály‘s approaches. It was a fun-filled, inspiring assembly where you enjoyed seeing the Kindergarten/ Grade 1 students act and improvise the words in the ” Froggie Learns to Swim” story on the Orff instruments.

You are amazed by the Grade 2 students singing with hand-sign solfège and transposing it on the Orff instruments. Grade 4 played the recorders and singing, and Grade 3 played the ukulele to accompany the EC in singing. Lastly, Grade 5 performed the “La Raspa” Mexican dance. The assembly ended with the audience joining in to dance. 🕺🏼🎶
